Message from AMEC 2024 COC Director

Dear fellow JCI members,

It is with joy and thirst to see you again in Rwanda to share exciting moments to the rhythm of JCI pulse with you. The recent experience of the 2022 Meeting of the National Presidents of Africa and the Middle East in Kigali left us with good memories; we experienced magical moments, but it seemed to us very short to make you discover the human, economic and cultural wealth of the country of the thousand hills. So we give you this next appointment in 2024, in Kigali, which will be your hub to meet in a JCI atmosphere and connect, make good decisions together for the future of our movement, develop your skills and team, and exchange on your different projects from the four corners of our zone and the world and to value the knowhow of the Jaycees in their respective communities through the commitment of the Jaycees in action. That’s not all; the ecosystem of young entrepreneurs in Rwanda, notably the Junior Chamber International of Rwanda, will have the pleasure of making you meet our most inspiring leaders.

Our precious partners support active citizenship, the actors and young talents driving innovation. You will also have the opportunity to discover the richness of our land, the land of a thousand hills, to learn about the history, the motto, and the shared vision of our nation united in rebuilding Rwanda by prioritizing the rebuilding of the individual and the community. Your coming to us during the Africa and Middle East Area Conference will allow JCI Rwanda to share the JCI dynamics with the Rwandan youth by opening the door to the thousand development opportunities that JCI offers. Welcome to Rwanda. Let’s share our most inspiring vibes, cultivate brotherhood across our nations, learn together and co-create a positive impact in our respective societies through twinning to address our countries’ everyday challenges and strengthen our business networks by developing our international contacts and exchanges.

Message from JCI Rwanda COC Deputy Director

To JCI members from Africa and the Middle East, greetings from Rwanda, a beautiful landscape in the heart of Africa. It is rooted in our culture as JCI members to gather at conferences to expand knowledge, network, and friendship and amplify the impact of our activities. That is attained through energizing workshops, trainings, programs, and events that inspire global collaboration to develop the classical leadership that the world needs to-day. JCI Rwanda is set to provide nothing other than the best conference of your dream. As the national organization, we are progressively growing the experience of hosting JCI international events. Some of you have already tasted the beauty of our hospitality, culture, history, and business environment. The store is full of surprises for AMEC at Kigali in 2024. We can’t wait to welcome you to the country currently recognized as Africa’s shining star due to effective leadership. I look forward to welcoming you and hosting you in person in Rwanda.

JCI Rwanda Senate

It is with great pleasure that I would like to welcome you all to our beautiful country, Rwanda. For over a year, JCI Rwanda leadership, its members and the senate have been working hard together with our partners to ensure that we welcome the 2024 Africa and Middle East Conference to our home Rwanda, this with a hope to forge more synergies and inspire leaders from Africa and the Middle East with our own story as a country. To us, this is a moment of joy and happiness as we present to you our country’s beautiful hills, present to you the growing infrastructure of our nation which has made Rwanda, Africa’s best destination to host international meetings and events, as well as a compelling program of which we hope the incoming National Presidents can continue to foster impact needed in their respective countries, particularly now in these unprecedented times we are facing in the world. As you glimpse into Rwanda through this document, I would like to conclude with a “see you soon” and look forward to meeting all the leaders from more than 25 countries here in Kigali, Rwanda! IGIHE extends its warm welcome to the esteemed JCI Members, African and Middle Eastern Leaders. It will be great pleasure to have you in Kigali, Rwanda. Rwanda is an arguably commendable location to host reputable conferences.
The government of Rwanda has invested a lot of effort into making sure people can feel safe having their event hosted in Kigali by ensuring effective management of the Covid-19 pandemic and the proliferation of new infrastructures over the last six years which has in- stilled the spirit of belonging.
In view of better service and consequent experience of the conference, we will invest our efforts to ensure proper coverage through intentional communication.
